Hello, friends and pottery enthusiasts!

My latest collection features an array of handmade stoneware mugs, each carved by hand with original artwork inspired by the natural world around us.
This round of mugs doesn’t adhere to a specific theme, but is rather a reflection of my current inspirations. With the vibrancy of garden season upon us, you’ll notice colorful flowers on several pieces. There’s something so magical about having flowers back in our lives, and I’ve tried to capture that joy and beauty in my carvings.
This collection also celebrates our feathered friends, featuring some of my favorite birds and birds that caught my attention this spring. For the first time, I’ve carved the Carolina Wren, Tree Swallow and American Redstart.
Tree Swallow: After seeing these birds fly and dip down in our freshly plowed garden, I was captivated by their iridescent colors under the sunlight. I have attempted to replicate their dazzling hues with my glaze work.
American Redstart: These vibrant birds seemed abundant in our area for a few days, and their striking orange feathers in flight were a beautiful site.
Carolina Wren: Frequently appearing on my bird app, their musical songs and sounds have become a favorite of mine. This year, I realized how often we hear them and felt inspired to honor them in my pottery. I am happy with how the glaze turned out on my first attempt and look forward to making more!

I also had a lot of fun creating butterfly mugs, pushing myself to experiment with glazes. Special mentions go to the Spicebush Swallowtail and the Zebra Swallowtail – their intricate patterns and colors were both a challenge and a delight to bring to life.
In addition, you'll find my first ladybug mugs in this round, a few dragon mugs and a dragon vase, complete with waterfall and stone castle.
Mark Your Calendars! I can’t wait to share them with you! Be sure to visit my website on June 10th at 8 PM EST to explore and purchase these new creations.
Thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm for my work. Your appreciation for handmade artistry makes all the difference.
I’m eager to see the ladybug mug! That dragon vase you posted the other day was simply exquisite!
